DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:<\/strong>
\n======================
\nLaqlouq is one of the best winter resorts suited for cross-country skiing.<\/div>\n
Don\u2019t miss the opportunity to contemplate the sky and the nature of the region from \u201cSaydet El Qoren\u201d hill located at 2150 m above sea level and you will definitely need a light jacket even if it may be hot in Beirut. A big cross stand there overlooking Batroun \u2013 Jbeil area.
\nOur trail will begin from Laqlouq and its downhill for about 13km. We will walk for a couple of hours to reach Balou3 balaa then Chatine village.
\nThe Balaa Pit or Baatara gorge waterfall (also known as Balouaa Balaa) is very famous, it is one of the 10 most beautiful waterfalls in the world, and it is a triple natural bridge located in the tiny village of Balaa.<\/div>\n
HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous
\nWe will start our hiking near an old church and will see Akoura Beautiful Lakes. Part of our trail will be along with the LMT.<\/div>\n
Our hike will be divided into two levels:
\nLevel 4, is a downhill beautiful trail of just 7 KM. From the old church, we will continue along a trail leading to Saydet El Dahab, then to the hill. We will also be able to see rare views particular to this altitude terrain. After crossing Laqlouq the scenery changes from this stage; we will continue in a trail and breathtaking views to be remembered forever. The track will take us to Baatara gorge waterfall. There is a snack where will have lunch together and you can also have your own picnic. We will walk down the stairs to see from up \u201cThe cave\u201d also known as the \u201cCave of the Three Bridges\u201d, the three natural bridges rising one above the other.
\nLevel 6 (13 Km Approxi.) will continue from Balaa Pit downhill and head towards the riverbank, then uphill until we reach Chatine village at an old Church (Saidet el Atika) overlooking the area. (Level 4 will go by bus).<\/div>\n

Healthy snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, lunch, water, cap, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
